• Account Information: Apple ID email address, display name, and Apple-provided user identifier (via Sign in with Apple)
• Nutrition Data: Meals logged, food items, macro/calorie data, nutrition goals, and saved favorites
• Photo Data: Food photos submitted for AI analysis (processed in real-time, stored only if you save the meal)
• Voice Data: Voice recordings are temporarily processed for meal logging and are NOT stored permanently
• Usage Data: API usage statistics, error logs, and feature usage analytics
• Device Information: iPhone model, iOS version, and app version
• Subscription Data: Subscription status, purchase history, and reward tier progress (managed via RevenueCat)

• Provide AI-powered nutrition tracking and food logging services
• Process voice commands, text input, and food photos to identify meals and calculate nutrition data

Nutrition data is powered by the USDA FoodData Central database (public domain), containing 61,000+ foods. Additional sources include restaurant nutrition information and manufacturer-provided data.

Data Security

• All data encrypted at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Row Level Security (RLS) ensures users can only access their own data

We DO NOT:

Data is only shared with the service providers listed above, solely to provide MacroPath AI functionality.

Children's Privacy

MacroPath AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact us immediately at support@macropathai.com.

Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data retained as long as your account is active
• Deleted accounts: All data permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Voice recordings: Processed in real-time and discarded immediately (not stored)
• Photo data: Stored only if you confirm and save the meal; otherwise discarded after processing

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
